What if your life’s work in information, technology could be certified proving to everybody that you really are professional. You really know what you’re talking about and that you are so in to be listened to.
Think about your enterprise. Now think about an open enterprise. What do you immediately see as being different between those two? Hello, this is Scott and welcome to the Open Enterprise I/O experience.
You know, that’s what I thought I was getting when I got my TOGAF nine framework certification. But in hindsight, that’s just a small little niche of a vertical saying, yeah, I know how the overall enterprise could be architected, but it doesn’t tell the full picture of everything that I’m capable of. And I’m super excited that the open group has taken on that concept of the professional certification program, recognizing that people are in different tracks within their profession, as information technology has grown and expanded and roles have been defined and clarified. Now there’s, there’s ways that you can say here’s my work and peers within the community can then certify that you really do know what you’re talking about to start off this split us up into four different categories. So a lot of times there’s been certifications for architects, but what about people that are working within technology, such as hardware?
There hasn’t really been the same type of certifications. And so there’s these four different tracks now. And so you attain that certification through five milestone certifications, you get these little badges, five evaluations, and then you put all that together for a board evaluation to say, if you’re going to be certified master certified or distinguished, and if you go for the architect profession, because that’s what I’m interested in. So that’s what I’m going to share right off. Um, the architects track is split up in business, digital enterprise and solution. And so that’s four different sub paths that you could take within that architecture profession path. And so that’s really amazing. So two weeks ago they had, the open group. They had a digital transformation, but they also talked about this, within a virtual webinar. Basically wouldn’t have a whole bunch of different videos. I put all those together and a YouTube video plan list for you. And I’ll share that link in the description. So this is exciting. I can’t wait to get started on this. And so just throw my hat in the ring down. I’m going to be working towards this path as well.
